Our Vision is to serve as the voice for excellence & diversity in crime writing.

The mission of Sisters in Crime, Inc. and the Sisters in Crime Atlanta Chapter is to promote the ongoing advancement, recognition and professional development of crime writers and to engage readers with content that is entertaining and educational.

OUR MISSION

At Sisters in Crime Atlanta, our mission is to provide a supportive platform for writers to grow, learn, and thrive. We are dedicated to nurturing creativity, sharing knowledge, and promoting a love for literature among our members and the local community.

The Atlanta Chapter of Sisters in Crime offers a diverse, welcoming, and supportive community of writers and readers of crime fiction.

​Our Code of Conduct

WHAT WE OFFER

Our programs are presented by and for people interested in crime fiction. Please check our event page for upcoming events. These include:

  • Monthly chapter meetings on the second Saturdays of the month which focus on educational programs of interest to writers and readers.

  • Virtual Write-Ins are held five times a week

  • Off the Shelf on the fourth Saturdays of the month, introduces readers to new authors over Zoom.

  • Murder by the Book on the first Saturday of each month @ 10 am to discuss and share your favorite books.

SinC Atlanta local chapter dues are $25.00 annually and are used for programs, speaker fees, and other member benefits.​
